HOW TO JOIN, FORM OR ACCESS OUR COMMUNITIES:

a

1. Form a community (minimum 5 persons with similar interests) of your own and provide a brief description of what your group is seeking or what it can offer people who are using information as a development tool throughout the US, Africa, Caribbean and the rest of the Diaspora. This is actually a mini Action Plan or Business Proposal that will demonstrate how ICTs can be used to empower communities of people of African descent who wish to connect in mutually-beneficial and meaningful ways via broadband networks.

2. Successfully complete any required free media training.

3. Develop the content for your COPE custom website and plug it in to our free server.

You are REQUIRED to have at least 5 members (even people you know who are just curious about Africa) in your online community. That will qualify your group for:

  • Group discounts
  • Free web page design
  • Free hosting on our servers
  • Other services to help you interface with our network to begin reaping the benefits from developing information and knowledge-based community networks that enhance whatever you do. We provide many more services to COPEs that submit proposals for activities that engage other COPEs.

Our primary developmental communication goals encompass education, training and sustainable economic advancement. We seek to increase the amount of validated and useful information being produced and distributed by people of African descent so we can address the problems cited by the founder of TransAfrica, Dr. Randall Robinson. This recent public address sums up the problems you can help our people at home and around the world to overcome by joining us today.

What are the benefits to COPE?

As your communications needs become more sophisticated and demanding, we will be there to support you and your community’s education and business ventures.
