Get the skills you need to secure your place in the DIGITAL MEDIA WORLD from the On Line Africa CyberAc@demy.
"Shedding Light on Photography", a virtual textbook by Professor Robert L. Jones, II, American University in Cairo that has been proven effective in transforming everyday average photographers and photo enthusiasts into excellent photographers in less than 6 months. Many of SIMBA's featured photographers were trained by this truly unique and innovative approach to quickly and effectively combining the essential elements of photography into POWERFUL and COMPELLING photographs like those you see in quality world-class publications. This is a participatory and interactive textbook which gives you the advantage of having your work critiqued by a team of qualified professional photographers, many of whom also teach in addition to their media careers. Students engage in on-line competitions once the basic skills have been amply demonstrated. Winners of these competitions will be selected for representation by the SIMBA Sight and Sound Agency. Students also can earn royalties from the use of their photos in planned future editions of the virtual textbook.
